Until 2006, it was possible to anchor in the entrance near the sandy beach in front of the town. In recent years, this has been roped off for swimmers some way into the fairway
Mooring prices vary wildly. The municipal berths nearer the town are significantly cheaper, but are often full. A paid marinero will often greet yachts in a rib and encourage them into the more expensive commerical moorings on the south side. The facilities are good in the commercial marina (with particularly good showers), but it necessitates either a short dinghy ride or a long walk to get to the town.
Just up the hill from the commercial marina is an open air swimming pool.
